V-E Day May 8, 1945

I have written a new letter on my website: Dick Vasley in Germany – May 10, 1945

It is written by Richard Vasley on May 10, 1945, two days after V-E Day. Since he has been stationed in the southeastern part of what was East Germany I think it is informative. He mentions three towns that he passed through during his tour and the bombing done by the Allies.

In my uncle’s story I am hoping to add to this critical period of time in the closing months of World War II.
