Irena Sendlerowa 1910-2008

I recently read about this remarkable woman. This German lady worked as a plumbing / sewer expert during World War II. She worked in the Warsaw Ghetto. She had firsthand knowledge of what the Germans were planning for the Jewish people. She mad it her job to smuggle small infants out of Poland. She lived to be 98 years old, and was up for the Nobel Peace Prize in 2007. She lost to Al Gore who put up a remarkable movie on Global Warming. BUT, this lady did a remarkable Global Warming of her own, in saving over 2500 children and infants. To this lady I give her the Peace Prize.
